So What is Health Coaching Anyway?


Health coach, wellness counselor, holistic health & wellness coach... Maybe you've heard of these, maybe you haven't. If you have, you still might not be entirely savvy on what a health coach is or what they do. Here at Behance Wellness we graduated from the world’s largest nutrition school, as professionally-trained Certified Holistic Health & Wellness Coaches, so allow us to explain. Think of us as an extension of your doctor, chiropractor or nutritionist. The average doctor visit is less than 20 minutes, according to the National Center for Health Statistics. This is simply not enough time to exchange information, receive quality care, and have all of your questions answered.

Unfortunately, they don't. And that is where the health coach comes in. Here at Behance Wellness we meet with you for 1 hour 2 times per month. In the initial health consultation, we get to learn all about you and your unique health goals. In turn, you get to learn all about how we (the health coach) will help you become the healthiest you've ever been using one of our customized plans:

  • weight loss

  • meal planning

  • one, three and six month programs

  • fridge & pantry makeovers

  • health food shopping trips

  • juice cleanses

  • meal prep

We have been trained in over 100 dietary theories, so those popular diets that you have been hearing about like Keto, Paleo, Whole 30 and Gluten-Free are all second nature to us. However we offer so much more than just a diet and exercise plan. We also work with you on your "primary foods." Primary foods are anything that "nourishes" you that isn't actual foods or beverages. Examples include: romance, family & home life, social life, career and personal growth. The term "holistic" refers to all these areas that our training recognizes greatly influence our health and wellness.
